GMSI Receives 1998 PC DOCS Government Solutions Provider of the Year Award

GMSI achieved another milestone on February 15, 1999, when Hilton Augustine, Wayne Jewell and Dave Foresman were called on stage to accept the 1998 PC DOCS Government Solutions Provider of the Year award. Playing to a full house, GMSI's proud team accepted the award related to outstanding results. Congratulations to the entire Document Management team.
GMSI recently developed a "first of its kind" Integrated Document Management and Suspense Tracking System (DMS) for a legal office of the Federal Government. GMSI integrated PC DOCS (DOCS Open), CompInfo's LawPack and the Foremost Records Management Application from Provenance Systems into a seamless, user-friendly interface. This application platform provides users with a single point of entry from which they can effectively manage their work load, track suspense dates for all outstanding and pending actions, measure performance, automate reporting requirements, and enhance access to all electronic documents.
The system is flexible enough to allow integration of other third party computer and communications applications such as document imaging, routing, and voice recognition. With this system the legal office is now totally compliant with Congressional mandates and Y2K requirements. It also provides rapid electronic means to access, retrieve, and share information, an issue which is critical in today's business environment.
